Mission Statement of A Caring Pregnancy Center Nurturing the spirit while affirming the potential in every human life. Mission Statement of ACPC Women's Clinic To erase the need for abortion through affectively serving pregnant, at-risk women by transforming their fear into confidence.
Founded in 1984, A Caring Pregnancy Center (ACPC), is a locally organized and funded outreach, providing a variety of free services and programs to meet the needs of the community. Because of the growing need in Pueblo, ACPC outgrew its old office space in 1992. This caused the move to their current building, which is now filled to capacity with volunteers, staff, parents taking classes and mothers utilizing counseling and material resources. Thanks to the faithful donors, ACPC was able to establish a clinic equipped with ultrasound technology which provides mothers with the first opportunity to visibly connect with their unborn baby. With the opening of the clinic, ACPC secured part-time staff and volunteers to serve as nurse sonographers. However, there is a growing need for at least one full-time nurse sonographer in order to increase hours of availability. We hope through the services offered at ACPC and the Women's clinic to encourage women experiencing unplanned pregnancies to realize that there are better choices available to them than termination. We also hope to inspire in them a new vision for their lives through an introduction to Jesus Christ. ![]() |
